NORTH CAROLINA’S ARMED SERVICES YMCA AFFILIATE
The New River YMCA is proud to partner with the YMCA of the Armed Forces to offer support to our military families. When military families need support navigating the unique challenges of military life, the New River YMCA is their “Home Away from Home,” providing community resources and critical services including resiliency programs for school-age children, access to food security, and child care and early childhood education.
MILITARY FAMILY APPRECIATION WEEKEND
We honor Military Family Appreciation Month every November. In partnership with the Armed Services YMCA, we support the military families in our community with a special family weekend experience. In appreciation for your family’s service, this event is open to both active duty and veteran families.
