Age Eligibility
Programs are open to children ages 2 to 5. The child must reach the designated age of their specific program before the school year begins. Some exceptions can be made – please email admin@newriverymca.org to inquire.
Daily Nutrition
Parents must provide a healthy snack, a lunch, and a labeled water bottle daily.
Potty Training & Supplies
Required for Global Explorers & Rising Scholars (4’s & 5’s). For younger, non-potty trained classrooms, parents must supply diapers and wipes daily.
Payments & Billing
Payments are drafted monthly on the 1st of each month. Bi-monthly drafting schedules are available upon request.
Financial Assistance & Military Discount
A 5% Military Discount is available. Please email admin@newriverymca.org after registering. General scholarships are also available through our Annual Campaign.

Half Day Preschool 2: Little Explorers (Age 2)
Our Playschool program provides a nurturing, play-based environment where our youngest learners begin their journey of discovery, socialization, and growth.
Monthly Rate: $335
Registration Fee: $75
Focus: Early socialization, music, movement, and hands-on exploration
Our Preschool 3 program offers a joyful and supportive environment where children build foundational skills through curiosity, exploration, and intentional play.
Monthly Rate: $315
Registration Fee: $75
Focus: Early literacy, social-emotional development, and collaborative play.
At the New River YMCA, we believe financial challenges should never stand in the way of quality childcare. Thanks to our Annual Campaign, scholarships are available.
